Rescue & Refit

Alterations & Private Fittings

The clothes you already own, made to fit the person you are now — pinned and fitted behind a closed door, never at a counter.

What We Take On

From simple hems to full re-cuts

Alterations built this atelier, and we still treat them as real tailoring rather than a side counter. Every job starts with a fitting, because a garment can only be corrected on the body that wears it.

  • Trouser, skirt and sleeve adjustments with proper pressing
  • Jacket resizing through the side seams and shoulders
  • Wedding dress and baju fitting adjustments, handled with care
  • Re-cutting inherited garments for a new wearer
  • Zip, lining and buttonhole repairs done invisibly

The Session

How a fitting appointment runs

  1. Assessment

Bring the garment and, if it belongs with an outfit, the shoes and pieces it will be worn with. We examine seams and allowances before promising anything.

  2. Pinning

You wear the garment in the private fitting room while a senior tailor pins the correction. You see the intended result in the mirror before we sew a stitch.

  3. Work & return

Simple work is ready in two to four days; structural re-cuts take up to two weeks. A second fitting confirms the result before you take it home.

Pricing

Quoted at the pinning, fixed from then on

Hems and simple adjustments start from RM 35. Structural work is priced after assessment and confirmed before we begin — the number you approve is the number you pay, even if the job turns out harder than expected.

Not worth altering? If a garment cannot be corrected well, we will tell you at the assessment and charge nothing for the honesty.

That garment in your wardrobe? Bring it in.

The one you love but never wear because something is slightly wrong — that is exactly the work we like best.
