Master tailor draping a chalk-marked suit jacket inside the SeamCraft Atelier workroom

Appointment-Only Tailoring House

Garments cut for one body only. Yours.

SeamCraft Atelier is a bespoke tailoring studio in Damansara Perdana where every suit, shirt and alteration begins with a conversation, a tape measure and a bolt of cloth you chose yourself.

Welcome to the Atelier

One craft, practised without shortcuts

Since our first workbench opened in Petaling Jaya, we have concentrated on a single discipline: shaping cloth around real people. No racks of ready-made sizes, no rushed pinning at the counter. Each commission is measured, cut and sewn in-house by tailors who have spent decades at the trade.

Whether the garment is destined for a boardroom, a wedding stage or an ordinary Tuesday, it leaves our door only when it moves with you and holds its line.

Why SeamCraft

The habits behind the fit

01

Appointment only

Every visitor gets the workroom's full attention. No queue, no counter, no hurry.

02

Hand-picked cloth

Wools, linens and cottons selected from mills we trust, shown to you in full bolts — not swatch photos.

03

Personal patterns

Your measurements become a paper pattern that stays with us, so the second garment fits even faster.

04

Senior tailors

Cutting and finishing are done by tailors with decades at the bench, not apprentices on their own.

Recognition

Quietly noticed

We would rather be judged by a lapel than a trophy shelf, but a few kind mentions have found their way to us over the years.

Cloth & Tools

Fabric chosen in daylight, cut with old steel

A garment can only be as good as its cloth. That is why fabric selection at SeamCraft happens beside a window, bolt in hand, where you can feel the weight and watch the weave catch light.

  • Tropical-weight wools for daily wear in the Klang Valley climate
  • Linen and cotton blends for garden and beach ceremonies
  • Structured worsted for boardrooms and formal evenings
  • Every bolt inspected on arrival, imperfect lengths returned

Client Words

Fittings people talk about

"My wedding suit was measured on a Tuesday, fitted twice, and on the day itself I forgot I was wearing it. That is the highest praise I can give a jacket."

Adrian Khoo, Mont Kiara

"They rebuilt my late father's blazer to fit my brother. The care they took with it meant more to us than any new garment could."

Nurul Aisyah, Bangsar

"Five shirts a year, every year, since 2021. I have stopped looking at shop shelves entirely."

Vikram S., Subang Jaya

Questions

Before your first visit

A few things clients usually ask before booking. Anything else — write to us and we will answer plainly.

Do I need an appointment to visit?
Yes. The atelier works strictly by appointment so that a tailor is free to give you their full attention. Booking is done through the contact page or by phone, and evening slots are available on weekdays.
How long does a bespoke suit take?
A first commission usually takes four to six weeks, including two fittings. Repeat orders on an existing pattern are faster, often three weeks. Wedding deadlines are treated as fixed and confirmed in writing.
What does a bespoke suit cost?
Pricing depends chiefly on cloth. Most two-piece commissions fall between RM 2,800 and RM 6,500. You will receive a written quotation after the consultation, before any cutting begins.
Can you copy a garment I already love?
We can take a well-loved garment as the starting point for a new pattern, keeping what works and correcting what never quite did. Bring it to the consultation and we will examine it together.
Do you tailor for women?
Yes. Suits, blouses, dresses and ceremonial wear are all cut in-house. The measuring and fitting process is identical in care, and private fitting rooms are always used.
Is parking available at the atelier?
Perdana Business Centre has covered visitor parking on levels one and two. The atelier is a two-minute walk from the lift lobby, and we will send directions with your booking confirmation.
